Fun Facts

Dr. Hurliman and his husband Ismael, who has never been to Texas, are excited to embark on their newest adventure as they welcome their first child in early 2023. After living more than 10 years in the dry Arizona heat, they are cautiously optimistic about experiencing the humid Houston summers with their two energetic labs, Parker & Jax. They enjoy trying new restaurants, beach vacations, reality television, and swimming in the pool with their dogs. They are looking forward to exploring all the new food, activities, and culture that Houston has to offer. (Please send along any recommendations!)

In his spare time, Dr. Hurliman enjoys baking, running & working out, listening to true crime podcasts, and cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
