About Dr. Ayeshum Rasool


Dr. Ayeshum Rasool was born in Lahore, Pakistan and moved to the United States in 2006. She grew up in Houston and graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School where she discovered her passion for pediatrics. Dr. Rasool went on to earn a B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of St. Thomas which is where she joined the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP). She was then accepted at McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston and stayed there for her Pediatric Residency. Dr. Rasool is beyond excited to begin her journey with the Over the Moon team!



Fun Facts


Dr. Rasool is married to her husband Abdullah, whom she met through her husband’s best friend. They love traveling and experiencing new cultures, with her favorite place being Switzerland. They otherwise spend most of their time pampering their cat, Cheeni. His name means “sugar” in Urdu and he lives up to his name by being the cutest and cuddliest cat ever.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Rasool loves to watch horror movies, explore new restaurants, try out different crafts, and spend time with her family.

Roma Bhandarkar, MD

About Dr. Roma Bhandarkar


Dr. Bhandarkar is a native Texan. She grew up in Dallas before moving to Austin, where she earned her B.S. in Public Health from The University of Texas at Austin. She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine in College Station. Following medical school, Dr. Bhandarkar moved to Houston to complete her pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association, Dr. Bhandarkar is passionate about providing exceptional care to children. She is thrilled to join the Over the Moon Pediatrics team!


Fun Facts


Dr. Bhandarkar is a foodie and an avid traveler. In her free time, she loves getting lost in a good book, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. As a Yelp elite member, she’s always on the hunt for Houston’s newest culinary gems. Her travels have taken her to Peru, Portugal, Singapore, and Turkey!

Michelle Suhendra, MD, FAAP

About Dr. Michelle Suhendra

Dr. Michelle Suhendra is a native Houstonian who graduated from Stratford High School.  She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and moved back to Houston to work as an engineer for a large oil & gas company.  After working as an engineer for 2 years, Dr. Suhendra decided to make a career change and attended UT Southwestern Medical School at Dallas before returning to Houston to complete her pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.  Dr. Suhendra had the honor of being chosen to serve as a chief resident an additional year prior to joining Memorial Hermann Medical Group in the Texas Medical Center where she worked for over 7 years.  Dr. Suhendra is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She is excited to fulfill her dream of starting her own practice close to home in The Woodlands, TX!

Fun Facts

Dr. Suhendra is married to Dr. Ben Albright, a plastic surgeon in The Woodlands, TX.  They met while in an a cappella group at Stanford University.  They have 3 wonderful children (Caden, Camille, and Carter), 2 dogs (Wonder and Aspen), and an aquarium full of fish!  They love to travel to new places, but especially love islands, Canada, and all places Disney!  While spending time at home, they enjoy going on family bike rides, watching movies, and swimming.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Suhendra loves to bake, create photo books, decorate children's cakes, and sing loudly in the car or shower (when she's by herself!).

Meet The Staff

Patricia

Patricia was born and raised in Houston, TX.  She has been in pediatrics for over 20 years, graduating in 2005 from Texas School of Business.  She enjoys working with children, providing top notch care to our patients.  Outside of work, Patricia loves traveling and spending time with her family.

Heather

Heather was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Spring High School and earned her Associates Degree at Lone Star College. She also attended Texas School of Business for Medical Assisting in 2007. Heather has over 18 years of pediatric experience and enjoys every moment. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her daughter, watching movies, reading, and being a cat mom. 

Jocelyn

Jocelyn was born and rasied in Houston, TX.  She earned her associates in medical sciences from HCC Coleman College along with her medical assistant certificate.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and exploring different areas of Houston.

Yoselin

Yoselin is a native Houstonian who graduated from The College of Health Care Professions.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young son, her family, and her dogs and doing pilates.

Candace

Candace grew up in The Woodlands, TX and received her degrees from Lone Star College and Wayland Baptist University.  Outside of work, Candace enjoys spending time with her two young sons and her husband.

Janiece

Janiece is a native Houston and is the newest addition to the Over The Moon Pediatrics team!
